Arrest of Retired Employee in Sant Kabir Nagar

Authorities in Sant Kabir Nagar have apprehended a retired railway worker on charges of raping a minor girl, as reported on Sunday. The police confirmed the arrest.


Rajneesh Kumar Rai, the officer in charge of Mahuli police station, stated that a woman filed a complaint alleging that Yadulal, a 70-year-old resident of Jheegurapar village, assaulted her underage daughter in a field on December 16.


Following the mother's report, which was submitted to the police on Saturday after she learned of the incident, an FIR was registered against the accused under the relevant sections of the law.


Rai mentioned that the victim has been sent for a medical examination, and the police are currently investigating the case.
