Shootout in Dwarka, Delhi

On Tuesday morning, another shootout occurred in the Dwarka area of Delhi, resulting in the arrest of two shooters involved in the incident. The confrontation took place in Aya Nagar, where a total of 69 rounds were fired, injuring both suspects in their legs. This operation was conducted by the Crime Branch team.


Another Encounter in Gurugram on Sunday

On Sunday, a separate encounter unfolded in Gurugram, where a joint team from the Crime Branch Sector-40 and Crime Branch Punhana, Mewat, apprehended a wanted interstate criminal with a reward of ₹1 lakh after a shootout on the Sohna-Gurugram road.


The police reported that the suspect, identified as Yadram (50), sustained injuries to both legs during the encounter and was subsequently admitted to a hospital for treatment.


Police Responds in Self-Defense

Sub-Inspector Lalit Kumar stated that the police received specific intelligence indicating that Yadram, wanted in several serious cases across Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh, was traveling towards Sohna armed and on a motorcycle without a license plate.


During the encounter, the police team fired in self-defense, discharging four rounds, which resulted in injuries to both of Yadram's legs. He was subdued and taken into custody. The police provided first aid at the scene before transporting him to the local civil hospital. Officials further noted that a total of 10 rounds were fired during the encounter, with six from the suspect and four from the police team.
