Realme Photography Awards 2026 Announced

New Delhi, Jan 6: Realme, a leading smartphone brand favored by the youth in India, has officially launched the Photography Awards 2026, emphasizing its dedication to empowering young artists through high-quality mobile photography.

This year's awards will be judged by a prestigious panel that includes Chase Xu, Chief Marketing Officer of realme, acclaimed portrait photographer Zhou Run, street photographer Liao Yakun, European photographer and director Simon Bramann, and Indian visual artist Roshni Shah.

In conjunction with this announcement, realme introduced the next chapter of the Photography Awards for the realme 16 Pro Series, themed 'Real Celebrating Moments.'

This phase encourages creators to capture significant moments of joy, reunions, and personal achievements that reflect real life. The submission window is open from January 6 to March 20, with entries accepted via a straightforward application process on the realme Photography Awards website.

Participants can easily submit their entries through the realme Photos app with a single click.

"At realme, we believe photography is about people and their stories, not just images. The Photography Awards were established to honor genuine narratives, emotions, and the individuals behind each photograph," stated Francis Wong, Chief Marketing Officer of realme India.

"With the 2026 Photography Awards, we aim to provide a platform for young creators to showcase their authentic views of the world while celebrating the remarkable work from the previous phase that captured the essence of meaningful visual storytelling," Wong added.

Designed as a community-focused initiative, the realme Photography Awards were launched to celebrate true storytelling through everyday visuals. The last edition attracted thousands of submissions from across India, highlighting real emotions, personal stories, and diverse creative viewpoints from young photography enthusiasts.

"As we embark on the next phase of the Photography Awards, I am eager to see how creators depict real moments from their lives. The most impactful images stem from daily experiences and sincere perspectives. Mobile photography allows for the natural capture of these moments, and this platform empowers young creators to share their personal narratives in their unique voices," remarked Roshni Shah, jury member and visual artist.

During the event, realme also honored the winners from the first phase of the Photography Awards.

Pralay Jana received the Best Work Award for his exceptional composition, light usage, and compelling storytelling.

The Most Popular Award was given to Rohit Pawane for garnering the highest engagement and affection from the community.

Arghadeep Chinya was recognized with the Most Creative Award for his innovative and imaginative visual approach.
