Rajat Patidar, who captained RCB, was awarded the Player of the Match for his explosive innings, which included nine sixes and five fours. Coming to bat at a crucial moment when RCB was at 93-1 in 8.2 overs, he formed a vital 95-run partnership with Krunal Pandya, who contributed 43 runs, and a 40-run partnership with Jitesh Sharma, who scored 15 runs. RCB finished their innings at a formidable total of 254/5.

After the match, Glenn Phillips praised Patidar's fearless batting style, emphasizing his ability to maintain an aggressive approach regardless of the game's circumstances. Phillips noted that Patidar exemplifies leadership as a captain and showcased his strengths effectively during the match.

In their pursuit of 255 runs, the Gujarat Titans faltered, managing only 162 runs. Rahul Tewatia was the standout performer for GT, scoring 68 runs off 43 balls, while Jos Buttler added 29 runs from 11 balls. The RCB bowlers, particularly Jacob Duffy with figures of 3/39 and Bhuvneshwar Kumar at 2/28, dismantled GT's batting order early on.
RCB's Historic Final Appearance
This victory marks RCB's fifth appearance in the IPL finals, placing them third in the all-time rankings, following Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.
