India's Triumph in Galle

Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja shared a nostalgic moment following India's recent victory over Sri Lanka in the Galle Test on Wednesday. He reminisced about a significant win at the same venue nine years prior when India toured Sri Lanka. In this match, India secured a 165-run victory, taking a 1-0 lead in the two-match series, thanks to Manav Suthar's impressive 10-wicket haul and Devdutt Padikkal's remarkable 167 runs in the first innings.

Recalling the 2017 Series

After the recent win, Jadeja reflected on India's 3-0 Test series victory over Sri Lanka during their 2017 tour, particularly highlighting their memorable performance at Galle. In that match, India triumphed by 304 runs, bolstered by Shikhar Dhawan's 190 runs, Sheteshwar Pujara's 153, and Virat Kohli's 103 in the second innings, along with Jadeja's six wickets.

Jadeja's Gratitude for His Journey

In a video shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Jadeja expressed his gratitude for representing India for over a decade. He stated, "It's from the same ground. Because it's the same stand; only the colour has changed, the rest is the same. This photo is from the last series we played in 2017, here in Galle. Obviously, playing for India for ten years... it means a lot because it takes a lot of effort to stay for a longer period of time. So I think I'm feeling blessed and thankful to God that I'm still playing for India and doing what I have been doing for so many years."
