Raveena Tandon's Reaction to Ceasefire News

Mumbai: Actress Raveena Tandon expressed her relief upon hearing about a potential ceasefire between India and Pakistan, a development highlighted by a tweet from US President Donald Trump.

On her Instagram account, Raveena stated, "If this is true, then it’s a welcome decision. #ceasefire."

However, she cautioned Pakistan against any further aggression towards India, asserting, "But make no mistake, the day India bleeds again #statesponsoredterrorism it will be an act of war and then there will be hell to pay."

She further emphasized the importance of monitoring international financial aid, saying, "The #IMF had better keep track of where their money goes; the big powers may have sanctioned these loans to get their earlier loans paid back or so that there is more ammunition bought or whatever. But now AND never should Bharat Bleed Again."

Raveena concluded her post with a strong message of patriotism, stating, "#ceasefire But few things are pretty clear. I will support my country in ways that as a citizen I can. #mycountrymylife #bharatforever This has shown us who are friends and not. My country’s enemy is mine."

In a recent tweet, Trump announced that India and Pakistan had agreed to a "full and immediate ceasefire," congratulating both nations for their decision.

He tweeted, "After a long night of talks mediated by the United States, I am pleased to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to a FULL AND IMMEDIATE CEASEFIRE. Congratulations to both countries for using Common Sense and Great Intelligence. Thank you for your attention to this matter!"

Additionally, during a press briefing, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri confirmed that the Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) of Pakistan contacted his Indian counterpart, agreeing to halt all military actions across land, air, and sea starting from 1700 hours IST.

Tensions had escalated along the Line of Control (LoC) following Operation Sindoor conducted by Indian Forces on May 7, which was a response to a terror attack in Pahalgam.
