On Independence Day, Ranjit Thakur, who serves as the Project Coordinator at CRADLE, received a commendation certificate from the Sub-Divisional Administration in Kangra. This recognition was awarded for his exceptional coordination and significant contributions to the expansion project at Gaggal Airport.

Thakur was instrumental in raising awareness among families impacted by the project. He took the initiative to visit homes, where he provided detailed explanations about the project, its processes, and the rights and benefits available to the residents. His commitment was particularly noted for his outreach to elderly and differently-abled individuals, ensuring they had access to vital information and support.
