Ramapur (Uttar Pradesh), August 7 - Anil Kumar Singh Sisodia, the Superintendent of Police in Ramapur, has recently made headlines due to his remarks regarding cow slaughter. He asserted that a true Muslim would never partake in such acts and emphasized that the police would take action against individuals involved in these activities. During a press conference following a meeting at the police lines, Sisodia discussed the ongoing campaign against cow slaughter, noting that incidents have been reported in the Ganj and Swar police station areas during the month of Sawan.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, the police chief can be heard stating, "According to Islam, consuming the meat of any animal that offends another person's religious sentiments is forbidden. A genuine Muslim cannot engage in such actions. It is my responsibility to address those involved in these activities." He also mentioned plans to hold meetings with local clerics in Ramapur, urging them to ensure that such incidents do not occur.
