Rajnath Singh Commends Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami

On the occasion of the Uttarakhand government's four-year anniversary under the Bharatiya Janata Party, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh lauded Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for the remarkable progress the state has achieved. Speaking at an event held at MB Inter College Ground in Haldwani, Nainital, Singh referred to Dhami as 'Dhurrandhar Dhami', highlighting his exceptional capabilities and accomplishments.


During his address, Singh emphasized that Uttarakhand is a sacred land, rich in culture and faith, making it crucial to protect its sanctity. He urged everyone present to join in safeguarding the state, noting that under Dhami's leadership, the government has made it clear that there is no place for illegal immigrants in Uttarakhand, having removed over 10,000 encroachments.


Recognition of Welfare Initiatives

Rajnath Singh also praised the various educational, employment, and welfare schemes initiated by Dhami's administration. He acknowledged the central government's implementation of the 'One Rank, One Pension' scheme, which addresses a long-standing demand from veterans. Singh expressed gratitude towards the Uttarakhand government for its concern for ex-servicemen and the families of martyrs, highlighting efforts to provide financial assistance, educational reservations, job opportunities, and various welfare programs.

In his speech, Singh shared his views on the ongoing tensions in West Asia, stating that Prime Minister Modi's government aims to resolve these issues through 'dialogue and diplomacy'. He commended the Prime Minister's efforts to address potential energy or fertilizer crises that could arise from conflicts. Singh noted that the world is currently facing a crisis, which is a concern not just for India but globally. He reiterated the Prime Minister's stance that the solution to war is not more war, but rather dialogue and diplomatic efforts.
