On Tuesday, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh remarked that the 'Vibrant Gujarat' initiative has evolved into a nationwide movement contributing to the vision of a developed India. He emphasized that a robust economy, technological prowess, and national security collectively form the foundation of a strong nation. Speaking at the closing session of the 'Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference' in Vadodara, Singh noted that this initiative is aiding Gujarat's progress through new ideas and opportunities. He mentioned that the exhibition showcased various sectors, including industry, MSMEs, tribal products, and heavy industries, highlighting commendable efforts in the defense sector. He acknowledged the private industry’s role in fostering a conducive environment.

While praising Gujarat's contributions to the nation, Singh stated that the state has produced numerous great leaders, including Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He pointed out that since Modi became Prime Minister, India's respect on the global stage has significantly increased. Today, when India speaks on international platforms, the world listens attentively, a testament to Modi's leadership, who hails from Gujarat. Singh recalled that the 'Vibrant Gujarat' initiative was launched by Modi in 2003 when he was the Chief Minister, and it has transformed into a major movement over the past two decades.
