Rajnath Singh Emphasizes India's Stance Against Terrorism in Srinagar

Defence Minister's Strong Message
On Thursday, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated that the act of killing innocent individuals is the 'karma' of terrorists, while their elimination aligns with India's 'Bharatiya dharm.' He highlighted that the armed forces target terrorists based on their 'karma,' as they have harmed innocents while adhering to their 'dharma,' which he attributed to Pakistan's actions. Speaking at Badami Bagh Cantt in Srinagar, he remarked, 'Terrorists in Pahalgam asked victims about their religion before killing them. The world witnessed our response; we eliminated terrorists by focusing on their deeds, which reflects our 'Bharatiya dharm.'
Rajnath Singh as a Messenger
The Defence Minister described himself as a 'postman' delivering a message from the global community to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He expressed gratitude and best wishes from across the nation during his first visit to the region following the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor. 'I come not just as your Defence Minister but as a messenger, bringing the pride of our Armed Forces to you,' he stated. Singh also criticized Pakistan's management of nuclear weapons, questioning their safety in the hands of a 'rogue' nation and suggesting that international oversight by the IAEA is necessary.
Praise for Jammu and Kashmir Residents
Singh commended the residents of Jammu and Kashmir for their unity and resilience during Operation Sindoor, stating, 'The entire nation is proud of your actions under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.' He acknowledged the collective anger towards Pakistan and terrorism, celebrating the community's efforts in dismantling enemy positions. He began his address with 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' and honored the sacrifices of soldiers who fought against terrorism, as well as the innocent lives lost in Pahalgam. Singh's visit included an inspection of shells used in cross-border shelling from Pakistan.
