Rajnath Singh Celebrates Second Anniversary of Ram Temple's Pran Pratishtha

On Wednesday, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh participated in the 'Pratishtha Dwadashi Ceremony' in Ayodhya, marking the second anniversary of the consecration of the Ram Temple. He described this moment as one of historical significance and spiritual fulfillment for the nation. While addressing the gathering, Singh reflected on the importance of the installation of Lord Ram's idol, noting that two years ago, after centuries of anticipation, Lord Ram was enshrined in His divine temple. With His magnificent and radiant form, He now brings pride not only to Ayodhya but to the entire world. Singh emphasized that the spiritual ambiance of Ayodhya reflects the deep emotional connection people have with Lord Ram.

 

Singh remarked that every street, intersection, and doorway in Ayodhya is filled with the essence of Ram and joy. This joy extends beyond Ayodhya; it resonates throughout the Awadh region, across India, and in every heart around the globe that knows and respects Ram. He characterized this occasion as a moment of collective pride, highlighting that today marks a significant day for all, a historic moment when Lord Ramchandra chose to reappear on the land of Awadh to bless His devotees.

 

Reflecting on the Ram Temple movement, Singh stated that it is one of the most powerful public movements in the world. He expressed that they are celebrating the success of this great narrative, which has not only seen Ram come to His temple but also the flag of religion flying high above it. He shared his thoughts on the Ram Temple movement, recalling the intensity, awareness, and widespread public consciousness that emerged in the 1990s, which shook the entire nation. He noted that they all witnessed and lived through the movement that initiated the construction of Lord Ram's temple.

 

Highlighting the development of Ayodhya, Singh credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership and the two-engine government for the transformation. He stated that under the robust leadership of this government, Ayodhya is witnessing unprecedented changes. In line with the visionary thinking of the Prime Minister, world-class infrastructure is being developed while preserving faith, culture, and history. He further mentioned that the construction of the Ram Temple has significantly boosted religious tourism. Singh noted that the influx of millions of devotees has turned Ayodhya into a global center for religious tourism. With advancements in roads, accommodations, green spaces, airports, and railways, Ayodhya is emerging as a modern, safe, and prosperous ideal city.
