Rajasthan's VB Ji Ram Ji Scheme Aims for Rural Development
Chief Minister Emphasizes Rural Growth
Jaipur. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma stated that the development of villages is crucial for the overall progress of the country and the state. The VB Ji Ram Ji scheme, initiated under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is set to lay a strong foundation for a developed India by 2047, ensuring job security in rural areas and accelerating fundamental development.
On Tuesday, the Chief Minister convened a meeting to discuss the effective implementation of the VB Ji Ram Ji scheme. He instructed all relevant departments to collaborate and create a comprehensive blueprint for rural development in the state. He emphasized that priority should be given to sustainable and quality projects that strengthen rural infrastructure.
Ensuring Transparency through Mapping and Record Maintenance –
During the meeting, the Chief Minister remarked that the VB Ji Ram Ji scheme would be a revolutionary step towards realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a developed India by 2047. He stressed the importance of timely execution of the scheme's initiatives. He directed that modern technologies, including mapping and record maintenance, be utilized to ensure complete transparency in the projects and facilitate effective social audits. He also mentioned that the approved projects should align with local needs and the priorities of the villagers.
The Chief Minister instructed all departments to devise action plans for the effective implementation of the scheme in each district, ensuring that no eligible rural family in the state is deprived of its benefits.
It was noted during the meeting that Rajasthan ranks first in the country for labor deployment under the VB Ji Ram Ji scheme. The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary V. Srinivasan and officials from the relevant departments.
