Rajasthan Teachers Association Celebrates Foundation Day with Tree Plantation Drive

The Rajasthan Elementary Secondary Teachers Association (RESTA) commemorated its 7th foundation day and Teacher's Day by initiating a tree planting campaign across the state. Led by state president Mohar Singh Salawad, the initiative aims to plant 5,100 trees, emphasizing the role of educators in promoting environmental conservation. District president Rakam Singh Sarsena, along with students and teachers, participated in planting trees at a local school, highlighting the importance of this responsibility for future generations. The campaign is part of the broader 'Green Rajasthan' initiative, encouraging community involvement in environmental protection.

Tree Plantation Initiative on Teacher's Day


Gadra Road. In celebration of its 7th foundation day and Teacher's Day, the Rajasthan Elementary Secondary Teachers Association (RESTA) launched a campaign to plant 5,100 trees across the state, as called for by state president Mohar Singh Salawad.


As part of this initiative, members from the state executive, along with district and block executives, participated in tree planting to promote environmental conservation.


In this context, the district president of RESTA, Rakam Singh Sarsena, along with students and fellow teachers, planted trees at the Government Higher Primary School in Salim Singh Basti, Rawatsar, Gadra Road. Various species of plants were planted, and a commitment to their care and preservation was made.


Sarsena emphasized that teachers play a crucial role not only in educating society but also in raising awareness about environmental protection. He stated that tree planting is a significant responsibility for both the present and future generations. He linked the tree planting initiative to the 'Green Rajasthan' campaign, urging more individuals to plant and protect trees on this occasion of Teacher's Day and the association's foundation day.


Sarsena expressed gratitude to all the officials and teacher colleagues who actively participated in the tree plantation campaign throughout the district, thanking them for their contributions.
