Reward Announced for Arrest

Rajasthan News: The Rajasthan police have announced a reward of 25 paise for the capture of a young man involved in vandalizing the forest department's range office. This unusual reward has sparked discussions among the public, with many suggesting that it serves as a mockery of the fugitive's situation.

The incident occurred on November 1 at the Nahargarh forest department range office in Baran district, where Naresh Meena allegedly broke in, assaulted forest officials, and forcibly took away seized equipment. In response, Baran's Superintendent of Police, Abhishek Andasu, declared the reward for information leading to Naresh's arrest.

Police teams have been conducting extensive searches for Naresh over the past three days. Earlier, on Tuesday morning, officers visited his residence in Nayagaon, but he was not found. Notably, Naresh entered the Nahargarh range office following a public meeting on November 1.

The police have registered a case against him for obstructing government work, assaulting forest staff, damaging public property, and stealing confiscated goods. Since then, efforts to locate Naresh have intensified.

Intensive Search Operations Underway

To apprehend Naresh, law enforcement has launched a comprehensive search operation across the district. Under the guidance of the Superintendent of Police, several specialized teams have been formed to conduct raids at potential hideouts. Atru's Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ramanand Yadav, stated that the police's intelligence network is actively working to track down wanted suspects. Teams are being dispatched based on gathered intelligence to various locations where Naresh might be hiding.

On Friday, a large-scale raid was conducted for the third time, with the 25 paise reward still in effect for Naresh's capture. Yadav emphasized that anyone providing shelter to the fugitive would also be considered a criminal.

Superintendent Abhishek Andasu confirmed that the investigation into the Nahargarh range office incident is ongoing, with efforts to apprehend suspects and detain individuals linked to the case. Additional arrests are expected soon.

Previous Incident in Chhabra

Previous Legal Action: Earlier, on October 22, a disturbance occurred during food distribution in Chhabra, leading to a case being filed against Naresh for obstructing government operations. The investigation into this matter is still ongoing.
