Chief Minister Highlights Development Initiatives
On Saturday, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma emphasized that the state government has laid a solid foundation for public welfare and development during its two-year tenure, aiming to position Rajasthan as a leading state.
Addressing a public gathering in Mandalgarh, Bhilwara, Sharma stated that the government is dedicated to the welfare of all sections of society, focusing on infrastructure development, industrial growth, and prioritizing employment for the youth.
He remarked that good governance, service, and sensitivity have become the hallmark of the government's work culture. The Chief Minister assured that the government is committed to resolving every citizen's issue in a timely, transparent, and sensitive manner, ensuring that the benefits of schemes and services reach the last person through rural and urban camps.
Sharma noted that the state government has made unprecedented strides in various sectors, including education, roads, electricity, and water supply. He mentioned that they are committed to providing government jobs to four lakh youths during their five-year term, with over 92,000 appointments made in the last two years.
Additionally, he revealed that recruitment processes for more than 153,000 positions are currently underway. According to an official statement, Sharma inaugurated and laid the foundation for 30 development projects worth over ₹322 crores in Bhilwara.
The Chief Minister also stated that the government is taking strict action against corruption, with nearly 200 employees suspended for various offenses, including misconduct, and prosecution approval granted in 34 cases. Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Baidwan remarked that under the Chief Minister's capable leadership, the state is receiving a new direction for development.
