Immediate Suspension of Agricultural Officials


In a decisive move under its zero-tolerance policy, the Rajasthan state government has suspended three officials from the agriculture department. These officials face serious allegations including corrupt practices, unethical behavior, rudeness towards the public, inefficiency in official duties, and fraud.


The suspended officials include Sandeep Kumar, an agricultural supervisor from the Bharewala headquarters, Rajneesh Kumar, a senior agricultural supervisor from the Rao Wala office, and Vishal Kumar, an assistant agricultural officer from the Mu. Bagicha office.


Agriculture Commissioner Naresh Kumar Goyal stated that the suspension orders were issued in accordance with Rule 13(1) of the Rajasthan Civil Services (Classification, Control, and Appeal) Rules, 1958. Investigations into various cases against these officials are currently underway.


During the suspension period, Sandeep Kumar will report to the Joint Director of Agriculture (Extension) at the District Council in Dholpur, Rajneesh Kumar to the Joint Director of Agriculture (Extension) at the District Council in Barmer, and Vishal Kumar to the Joint Director of Agriculture (Extension) at the District Council in Baran.


They will receive a subsistence allowance as per regulations during their suspension and are required to register their attendance at their new headquarters, with instructions not to leave without prior permission.
