Strengthening Public Trust Through Justice

On August 8, in Jaipur, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma highlighted the importance of effective law enforcement and accessible justice in fostering public confidence in the government, thereby realizing the concept of good governance. He was addressing a dialogue program with public prosecutors and legal officials.

Sharma remarked, "Individuals in need and those who have suffered come seeking justice. In such instances, sensitivity and a positive demeanor enhance their trust in the system." He urged public prosecutors to work with a focus on human emotions alongside legal principles.

The Chief Minister announced an increase in the 'retainer' and 'appearance' fees for legal officials representing the state government in the High Court. Additionally, he mentioned that there would also be a rise in their 'drafting' and 'opinion fees.' According to an official statement, the state government has already raised the remuneration for legal officials appointed in the Supreme Court, High Court, and subordinate courts twice so far.

During the event, public prosecutors and legal officials expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister for the decision to enhance their fees. The program was attended by Law and Legal Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel, MP Madan Rathore, and Advocate General Rajendra Prasad.

In another event held at the Chief Minister's residence, Sharma addressed members of various district-level public grievance redressal committees, thanking them for their efforts. He emphasized that these committees play a crucial role in listening to the public's issues, facilitating their resolution, and monitoring the process.
