Rain Disrupts Second T20I Match Between Bangladesh and New Zealand
Match Abandoned Due to Weather
The second T20I clash between Bangladesh and New Zealand was called off without any play due to heavy rainfall and thunderstorms in Chattogram on Wednesday. The pitch remained covered throughout the day, allowing no opportunity for the match to commence. Consequently, Bangladesh maintains a 1-0 advantage in the three-match series after their victory in the first game.
Flooding in Chattogram
According to reports, parts of Chattogram are experiencing flooding as a result of continuous rain over recent days. Both teams arrived at the venue on Wednesday afternoon, with some players engaging in indoor net practice. Unfortunately, the adverse weather conditions made it impossible to conduct any outdoor activities. The teams are scheduled to return to Dhaka on Thursday for the third T20I, set for May 2.
