In his post, Rahul expressed that there is no greater sorrow than the tears of parents who have lost their children. He highlighted that this grief will forever linger, raising numerous questions about the broken and corrupt education system. He pointed out issues such as paper leaks and canceled exams, stating that years of preparation can be destroyed in an instant. He criticized the expectation for students to work honestly within a system that is inherently dishonest, questioning the Prime Minister's audacity to speak of 'forgiveness' towards the students.

Gandhi further questioned whether Modi had met with any grieving families who lost their children or those whose savings and dreams were shattered by paper leaks. He asserted that Indian students do not need the Prime Minister's forgiveness; rather, Modi should apologize to them. His statements came a day after Modi released a video message addressing the protests concerning alleged NEET irregularities. In this message, the Prime Minister expressed that he felt compelled to speak after hearing derogatory remarks made about him and his late mother during the protests at Jantar Mantar.

He remarked, "Not only were derogatory terms used against me at Jantar Mantar, but also against my late mother. However, foul language never leads to solutions; let us guide those who have lost their way."
