Speaking to reporters outside Parliament on the first day of the monsoon session, Priyanka Gandhi highlighted that while the opposition is calling for discussions on critical educational matters, students protesting are being met with harsh treatment. These statements came amid a tumultuous monsoon session in Parliament, where disruptions occurred due to allegations of the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak and alleged embezzlement of donations by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust in Ayodhya. Opposition members, led by Congress, demanded discussions on both issues, leading to repeated protests and the suspension of proceedings in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
