Government's Intimidation of Youth
Earlier, Rahul Gandhi criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, accusing them of attempting to intimidate the youth of India. He remarked that these leaders represent a bygone era and should reflect on how they are treating the future of the country.
Opposition's Stand Against Legal Actions
The Congress leader also held the government accountable for the suspension of several youth social media accounts across the country. Additionally, other opposition parties, including the Trinamool Congress, RJD, and Samajwadi Party, have strongly opposed the legal actions taken against students in various states.
