Tragic Incident in Ahmedabad

In the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the opposition, described the Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad as a heartbreaking event. He urged Congress workers to provide all possible assistance on the ground amidst the current situation. The Boeing aircraft, carrying 232 passengers and 10 crew members, crashed around 2:00 PM near the Meghani Nagar area of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport on Thursday.

Rahul Gandhi's Response

In a post on social media platform X, Rahul Gandhi expressed, "The Ahmedabad Air India accident is devastating. The pain and anxiety that the families of the passengers and crew must be feeling is unimaginable. My thoughts are with each of them during this incredibly difficult time." He emphasized the importance of immediate rescue and relief efforts by the administration, stating that every life matters and every second counts. He called on Congress workers to make every effort to assist on the ground.

Demand for Clarification

Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi Party, also demanded an "immediate clarification" regarding the Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad on Thursday. He stated on social media, "There should be an immediate clarification about the Ahmedabad plane accident to eliminate all doubts. Prayers for all passengers and crew members. The highest level of rescue, relief, and treatment should be provided."
