Hyderabad Heroes Triumph in the Final

In a decisive final, the Hyderabad Heroes showcased an impressive performance, defeating the Mumbai Dreamers with a score of 41-17 to secure the HSBC Rugby Premier League Season 2 title. Although the Dreamers started strong, they struggled to convert their early possession into points, as Hyderabad's solid defense forced critical turnovers.

The Heroes took advantage of swift counter-attacks, with Francisco Cosculluela's interception leading to a score by Taitaifono Tavita. Manuel Moreno's possession gain allowed Shivam Shukla to finish easily. Maurice Longbottom then added a drop goal, giving Hyderabad a commanding lead at halftime.

After the break, the Heroes maintained their aggressive pace, with Tavita again creating an opportunity for Diego Ardao to score. The Dreamers finally broke through with quicker ball movement that released Ethan McFarland, but Hyderabad continued to capitalize on turnovers. Ardao scored again, followed by Kevin Wekesa finishing a well-executed move. Terio Tamani extended the lead early in the final quarter, while James Turner managed to score for the Dreamers and assisted Sukumar Hembrom later. Nevertheless, Hyderabad's effective finishing and strong defense ensured a comprehensive victory.
