Punjab FC Signs Diego Raposo
Punjab FC has officially signed Brazilian forward Diego Henrique Oliveira Raposo in preparation for the upcoming 2026-27 Indian Super League (ISL) season. The talented left-footed player has committed to the club until May 31, 2027. Previously, Diego played for FC Lokomotiv Sofia in Bulgaria, where he made 19 league appearances. This marks Punjab FC's fourth foreign signing this season, following the acquisitions of Alfred Planas Moya, Jephthe Patrick Gerard Bahanack, and Raphaël Messi Bouli.
Diego Raposo's Career Path
At 29 years old, Raposo began his professional journey in Portugal with R.D. Águeda. He has also played for several other Portuguese clubs, including FC Felgueiras, S.C. Beira-Mar, and S.C.U. Torreense. His career took him to Bulgaria, where he joined FC Krumovgrad for the 2023-24 season. After two seasons in Bulgaria, he moved to Al-Dhafra FC in the UAE Pro League for one season before returning to Bulgaria to play for FC Lokomotiv Sofia.
