Pune Woman Assaulted by Fake Courier Delivery Executive

In a shocking incident in Pune, Maharashtra, an unidentified man posed as a courier delivery executive and allegedly assaulted a 22-year-old woman in her apartment. The police reported the incident on Thursday.

According to law enforcement officials, the assault took place on Wednesday evening around 7:30 PM in a housing society located in the Kondhwa area of Pune.

A senior police officer revealed that the young woman was alone in the flat as her brother had stepped out for some errands.

At approximately 7:30 PM, the suspect arrived at the apartment pretending to deliver a package, and it is alleged that he entered the home and assaulted the woman before fleeing the scene.

The officer mentioned that it has been reported the assailant may have used a spray on the victim prior to the attack, although this detail has yet to be confirmed. The police are actively investigating the case.
