Students Demand Action Amid Ongoing Protests

On Sunday, Union Minister Sanjay Seth and Jharkhand BJP President Aditya Sahu visited the Jaypal Singh Munda Stadium in Ranchi to engage with protesting students. These students have been demonstrating for the past 16 days against irregularities in various competitive exams, including JPSC and JSSC. They have issued a clear ultimatum to the government, stating that if their demands are not met, they will surround the assembly on the 10th.

Sanjay Seth Criticizes State Government
Upon arriving at the protest site, Union Minister Sanjay Seth expressed that if the state government had any sense of ethics, the Chief Minister should have met with the students on the first day and agreed to their demand for a CBI investigation. He questioned what the government had to lose by allowing a CBI inquiry. Additionally, he challenged Rahul Gandhi to come to Ranchi and support the students, suggesting that his dual stance prevents him from doing so.

Aditya Sahu Calls for Accountability from Hemant Government
Jharkhand BJP President Aditya Sahu empathized with the students, noting the tears in their eyes at the stadium. He emphasized that these tears represent not just the anguish of the protesting students but also the suffering of millions of youths in Jharkhand, which the Hemant Soren government and JMM will have to answer for. He urged Rahul Gandhi to engage with the Chief Minister and demonstrate courage by staging a protest outside the Chief Minister's residence, clearly stating that the Jharkhand government must initiate a CBI investigation or he would withdraw support.
