On Thursday evening, a man set himself ablaze while holding a Tibetan flag outside the United Nations headquarters in Manhattan. This alarming event took place around 7 PM at the intersection of East 43rd Street and First Avenue. According to reports, surveillance cameras at the UN captured the individual placing the Tibetan flag on the ground before the act of self-immolation.
