New Delhi, August 4 - Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra expressed on Tuesday that the results of the recent by-elections indicate a growing discontent among voters towards the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Speaking to reporters in the Parliament complex, she stated, “It is clear that people are tired and bored with the BJP. They are beginning to understand the current situation in the country.”

When asked if these results would influence the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, Priyanka Gandhi replied, “We will see what happens next.”

In the by-election for the Bankipur Assembly seat in Bihar, Prashant Kishor from the Jan Suraj Party defeated the BJP. Previously, this seat was held by Nitin Nabin, the national president of the BJP. Additionally, Congress managed to defeat the BJP in the by-election for the Datia Assembly seat in Madhya Pradesh.

Meanwhile, the BJP retained its hold on the Manjalpur Assembly seat in Vadodara district, Gujarat, following a successful by-election.
