Chaturvedi's Imitation of Bhutto
In Belgium, MP Priyanka Chaturvedi humorously imitated former Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto, igniting laughter among attendees. While mimicking Zardari's tone, the Shiv Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha member remarked, "Who attacks in the dark of night? Cowards attack in the dark." Chaturvedi referenced Zardari's speech following India's Operation Sindoor, aiming to clarify the meaning of 'coward.'
Definition of 'Coward'
Chaturvedi elaborated that 'coward' refers to those who orchestrate coups against elected governments, imprison political leaders, and assassinate a prime minister to install a military general in power. She further stated that the same military general initiated extremism in Pakistan, undermined the constitution, and obliterated Jinnah's vision. Additionally, she ridiculed the Pakistani delegation, asserting that even after over 70 years of separation, Pakistan remains behind India.
Comments on the Pakistani Delegation
She mentioned, "A delegation is following us, and you all know who they are. They have not stopped pursuing us since we left them in 1947." Chaturvedi added, "They will arrive in a few days. I mention this in the context of what India stands for, what we need to expose, and why we are here." Interestingly, the arrival of the Pakistani delegation in the U.S. has not been well-received by some politicians.
