Modi's Rally Highlights BJP's Strength in West Bengal

Before the West Bengal Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted an extensive roadshow in Asansol. Attendees at the event enthusiastically chanted slogans, showcasing their solidarity with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Prior to the roadshow, the Prime Minister addressed a public gathering, describing the voting day on April 23 as a "moment of decision for the future." He accused the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) of intimidating Hindus in the name of a specific community, emphasizing the need for support for the BJP government in the state.

Expressing the people's desire for a secure homeland, Modi stated that the BJP has ensured the safety of "India's western borders." He recalled a time when threats were made against Hindus through red posters, asserting that the TMC is now repeating similar tactics. The people of Bengal seek protection for their land, religion, livelihoods, and the future of their children. Therefore, he reiterated that April 23 will be a pivotal moment for their future, assuring that the BJP has secured India's western borders and will also safeguard its eastern borders. Modi further claimed that the TMC's misdeeds in West Bengal have reached their limit and promised a two-engine government after the elections on April 23 and 29.

He reiterated that the TMC's wrongdoings have culminated, and the next government in Bengal will be a two-engine government. After May 4, he predicted that Bengal would enter a new era of development. Modi noted that the demand for change has become an undeniable reality, with movements spreading across Asansol and other regions like Durgapur, Raniganj, Saltora, and Raghunathpur.
