PM Modi's Upcoming Visit to Varanasi
On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit his parliamentary constituency, Varanasi, for a one-day trip. During this visit, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation for 52 projects worth ₹2,183.45 crores, as stated in an official announcement released on Friday.
The statement highlighted that the Prime Minister's visit coincides with the auspicious month of Shravan and the Raksha Bandhan festival. The projects encompass various sectors, including roads, health, education, sports, tourism, and essential development initiatives.
Additionally, PM Modi will distribute various assistive devices to differently-abled individuals and the elderly. He will also release the 20th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, which will transfer ₹20,500 crores to the accounts of over 9.7 crore eligible farmers across the nation.
A significant public gathering is planned at the Banouli (Kalika Dham) village in the Sevapuri assembly constituency. According to the announcement, the Prime Minister will be welcomed at the airport by Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and other BJP leaders.
Dilip Patel, the regional president of the Kashi area, noted that this will mark PM Modi's 51st visit to Kashi. He is expected to arrive at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport around 10 AM and will travel by helicopter to the public meeting site in Banouli, where over 50,000 attendees are anticipated.
