On the occasion of the 101st birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 'Rashtra Prerna Sthal' in Lucknow. During a large public gathering, he criticized opposition parties while highlighting the achievements of the BJP government. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was also present on stage.

While addressing the crowd, PM Modi paid homage to Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Mahamana Madan Mohan Malviya, and Maharaja Bijli Pasi on their birth anniversaries. He also extended Christmas greetings to people around the world.
Transformation from Waste to Inspiration
The Prime Minister noted that the magnificent memorial now stands on a 30-acre plot that was once a mountain of garbage. He commended CM Yogi and his team for this remarkable transformation.
Fighting Poverty
PM Modi stated that millions of Indians have overcome poverty in the last decade. He pointed out that before 2014, only 250 million people were covered by social security schemes, but this number has now surged to 950 million.
Foundation of Good Governance
The Prime Minister remarked that for a long time, slogans like 'Remove Poverty' were mistaken for good governance, but Atal Ji brought these ideals into reality. He emphasized that the digital identity now recognized globally was established during Atal Ji's administration.
Reference to Article 370
PM Modi mentioned that Dr. Mukherjee strongly opposed the concept of 'two constitutions and two flags' and expressed pride in the BJP government's achievement of dismantling Article 370. He acknowledged the contributions of Maharaja Suheldev, Bhagwan Birsa Munda, and Maharaja Bijli Pasi, stating that the BJP government is honoring these heroes who were overlooked for decades.

Located in Lucknow, this complex features 65-foot tall statues of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. It also houses a state-of-the-art museum that showcases India's cultural and political journey.
