Speaking at the centenary celebration of Jain spiritual leader Acharya Vidyanand Maharaj at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi, Modi remarked that the audience completed his sentence when he hinted at challenges ahead. He noted, 'I barely started a sentence, and you finished it for me.' Acharya Pragya Sagar, a prominent Jain spiritual figure, commended the decisions made by the Modi government during its tenure, which include the abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35A, the release of a new map defining the cartographic boundaries of the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, and Operation Sindoor initiated by India on the morning of May 7 following the Pahalgam terrorist attack that claimed 26 lives.
