PM Modi is expected to arrive at Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport in the evening, where he will be personally welcomed by Netanyahu and his wife, Sara.

Just before the visit, on February 22, 2026, Netanyahu proposed the Hexagon Alliance during a cabinet meeting, designating India as a core partner.


Main Members: Israel, India, Greece, Cyprus (core), along with several Arab, African, and Asian nations.


Objective: To counter radical forces in the Middle East, including the radical Shia axis (Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis) and emerging radical Sunni groups.


Focus: Enhancing security, sharing intelligence, and boosting defense collaboration.


Netanyahu stated, 'We will establish a comprehensive network of alliances around or within the Middle East, including global powers like India.' This initiative is a step forward in advancing the Abraham Accords and I2U2 efforts.
