On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his best wishes to all educators and emphasized their vital contributions to nation-building. He also paid tribute to former President, philosopher, and educator Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on his birth anniversary.

On the eve of Teacher's Day, Prime Minister Modi met with the winners of the National Teacher Awards at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg. National Teacher Awards Ceremony
On Teacher's Day, President Droupadi Murmu will present the National Teacher Awards at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. This year, a total of 82 educators and education professionals from various fields have been selected, including 48 teachers from the school education and literacy department, 21 faculty members from higher education institutions and polytechnics, and 13 trainers from skill development.

Every year on September 5, Teacher's Day is celebrated in honor of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan's birthday.
