Significant Milestone in Temple Construction
On Thursday, President Droupadi Murmu performed the installation of the Shri Ram Yantra at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya, marking a pivotal moment in the temple's construction. The Shri Ram Yantra has been placed on the second floor of the temple, which is also its final level, symbolizing completion. This installation signifies the conclusion of the temple's construction process. The religious ceremony was conducted by Vedic scholars from South India, Kashi, and Ayodhya, under the guidance of priest Ganeshwar Shastri.
President's Address at the Ceremony
Following the installation, President Murmu addressed the gathering at the Shri Ram Yantra installation event. She expressed her deep honor in touching the sacred soil of Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram, who regarded this land as superior to heaven. She highlighted that the consecration of the divine idol of Ram Lalla, the opening of the Ram Darbar for devotees, and the hoisting of the religious flag atop the temple are historic milestones in our culture and history.
Vision for an Inclusive Society
The President emphasized the collective journey towards building an inclusive society and a developed nation. With the blessings of Lord Shri Ram, she expressed optimism that by 2047, or perhaps even sooner, these aspirations could be realized. By adhering to the ideals of Ram Rajya, she believes that a nation founded on ethics and righteousness can be achieved. She urged all citizens to unite with the sacred devotion of 'Ghat-Ghat Vyapi Ram' as the country undergoes a renaissance across economic, social, political, and cultural dimensions. She noted that the paths of divine devotion and patriotism are one and the same.
