A meeting chaired by SDM Kangra, Dr. Anjali Garg, convened to strategize for the upcoming Minjar Festival scheduled from July 21 to 28, along with the Shravan Ashtami Fairs taking place from August 13 to 22.
Attendees included temple officer Shivali Thakur, Tehsildar Prakash Chand, trust members, and representatives from various government departments.
- Security Measures: Plans are in place to deploy additional security personnel and install CCTV cameras.
- Sanitation Efforts: More sanitation staff will be hired, and arrangements for electricity, water, and restroom facilities in guest houses will be ensured.
- Traffic Management: Restrictions on heavy vehicle movement in Kangra town will be enforced during festival hours.
- Devotee Amenities: Drinking water will be available at Bajreshwari Ghat, and a bus service will operate from Tehsil Chowk to the temple.
