Uttarakhand Chief Minister Reviews Preparations for Amit Shah's Upcoming Visit

On Tuesday, Uttarakhand's Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami assessed the arrangements for the anticipated visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, scheduled for March 7 in Haridwar. This visit coincides with a grand event celebrating four years of the state government. Discussing the upcoming event, Dhami expressed expectations of a significant turnout from across Uttarakhand, particularly from areas surrounding Haridwar. He noted that a large gathering is anticipated, with participation from key party workers, officials, and representatives from various sectors of society.


 


To ensure all necessary preparations are in place, the Chief Minister conducted an on-site inspection ahead of the Home Minister's visit. Shah is set to participate in events commemorating the four-year milestone of Dhami's administration. Dhami further mentioned that the event will showcase the achievements of the "double-engine government" and highlight major developmental initiatives launched in recent years in Uttarakhand.


 


Additionally, there will be a program dedicated to displaying the accomplishments of the double-engine government and the state's successes. There is considerable enthusiasm among the public, and extensive preparations are underway. Regarding the upcoming Char Dham Yatra, the Chief Minister stated that preparations had begun well in advance and are now in the final stages. He assured that the arrangements for the pilgrimage would be executed smoothly.


 


The Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand is set to commence on April 19, with the doors of Yamunotri and Gangotri opening on that date. The doors of Shri Kedarnath and Shri Badrinath will also reopen for devotees on April 22 and 23, respectively.
