Kishor Questions Tejashwi Yadav's Political Identity

Prashant Kishor, the leader of the Jan Suraj Party, has openly criticized Tejashwi Yadav, the former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, questioning his political credibility and asserting that his position is largely due to his father, Lalu Prasad Yadav. In a recent exclusive interview, Kishor stated that Tejashwi lacks an independent political identity and credibility. He emphasized that without his father's name, Tejashwi would not have any significant recognition.

Kishor further remarked, "Tejashwi Yadav is the son of Lalu Yadav. Everything he is today is because of Lalu Yadav. Without Lalu's name, what is his identity?" He argued that Tejashwi's current status is solely attributed to his lineage rather than his achievements or qualifications. Kishor pointed out that there are many young leaders within the Yadav community who possess greater potential than Tejashwi.

He stated, "You mentioned that Tejashwi is a young leader. There are numerous young leaders in the Yadav community who are far more capable. However, the foundation of his current position is not due to any accomplishments. He is in this position simply because he is Lalu Yadav's son." Kishor highlighted that the popularity of RJD chief Lalu Yadav has significantly declined over the years. He noted that Lalu only won an election on his own in 1995, and since then, the number of MPs from his party has been steadily decreasing.

Kishor remarked, "Lalu Yadav won an election only once on his own in 1995, when he was seen as a leader of the poor. After he became a leader of backward classes, the number of his MPs dropped to 20-25. When he transitioned to being a leader of the Yadavs, it further decreased to 10-12. Now, as the RJD leader of Yadavs, their numbers have dwindled to 2-4-5." Kishor, who is actively touring the interior regions of Bihar as part of his ambitious journey, has also challenged opposition leader Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha, questioning his commitment to Bihar and accusing him of making superficial gestures rather than engaging in genuine political involvement.
