Prashant Kishor's Vision for Bihar
During a rally in Bhojpur, Bihar, Prashant Kishor, the founder of Jan Suraj, emphasized that the primary aim is for the people of Bihar to emerge as number one this time, while leaders like Lalu Yadav, Nitish Kumar, and PM Modi will fall behind. Kishor asserted that this victory would not be his or Jan Suraj's, but rather a triumph for the public. He pointed out that those who have suffered from corruption and exploitation by politicians for the past 30-35 years, leading to poverty and illiteracy among their children, are now awakened. There is a collective resolve to introduce a new system for education and employment in Bihar.
Criticism of Tejashwi Yadav
Earlier, Kishor criticized former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, questioning his political credibility and claiming that his position is largely due to his father, Lalu Prasad Yadav. In an exclusive interview, Kishor stated that Tejashwi lacks an independent political identity and credibility. He further emphasized that without his father's name, Tejashwi would not have any significant recognition.
Kishor's Remarks on Political Legacy
Pointing out Tejashwi's lineage, Kishor remarked, "Tejashwi Yadav is the son of Lalu Yadav. Everything he is today is because of Lalu Yadav. Without Lalu's name, what is his identity?" He argued that Tejashwi's position is solely due to his heritage, not his achievements or qualifications. Kishor noted that there are many young leaders in the Yadav community who possess greater potential than Tejashwi.
Declining Popularity of Lalu Yadav
Kishor highlighted that the popularity of RJD chief Lalu Yadav has significantly declined in recent years. He pointed out that Lalu only won an election on his own in 1995, and since then, the number of his party's MPs has been steadily decreasing.
