During a visit to Jamui, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar made a remark that stirred the political atmosphere. While placing his hand on Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary's shoulder, he stated, "Now they will handle all the work." This comment has led to various interpretations regarding potential leadership changes in Bihar. Political analysts suggest that this statement is far from ordinary.

Many view it as a signal for future political responsibilities and a possible shift in leadership. Some experts interpret this as an indication of Samrat Chaudhary's growing influence, while others see it as a hint towards a potential change in power dynamics. Notably, Nitish Kumar has frequently brought Samrat Chaudhary to the forefront during events in districts like Madhepura, Kishanganj, Katihar, and Begusarai, urging the public to support him as they have supported Kumar. In Saharsa, he even mentioned that these individuals would now oversee everything.

However, the complete formula for a power shift in Bihar remains unclear. There is currently no discussion regarding which party will assume the chief minister role, and the BJP has not put forth any names yet. It remains uncertain whether the BJP intends to hand over the reins to Samrat Chaudhary. After a speech at a rally in Bhagalpur, Nitish Kumar invited Chaudhary to join him on stage, smiling as he took his hand and led him forward. While Chaudhary greeted the crowd with folded hands, other leaders raised their hands to address the audience.
