Rising Allegations of Vote Fraud

Following serious allegations of vote rigging in the Haryana Assembly elections made by opposition leader Rahul Gandhi, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has sharply responded. The political discourse has intensified with Congress leader Kumari Selja also weighing in on Rijiju's remarks.

Rahul Gandhi's Latest Claims

During a press conference on Wednesday, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi presented 'H Files', alleging that over 2.5 million votes were stolen in the Haryana elections.

Gandhi asserted, 'We have the term 'H Files', which pertains to how an entire state was compromised. We suspected this was not limited to a single constituency but was occurring at both state and national levels. We decided to focus on Haryana... all our assumptions were overturned.' He also mentioned similar experiences in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra.

Kiren Rijiju's Response

In response to Gandhi's accusations, Kiren Rijiju firmly countered, accusing him of undermining the credibility of the nation.

Rijiju stated, 'Rahul Gandhi is targeting not just the BJP but also the credibility of our country's systems and institutions... Questioning the Election Commission and our democratic system implies that you are attacking the nation and our systems. This is a calculated conspiracy.'

He further alleged that various forces, both domestic and international, are using Rahul Gandhi as a pawn to damage India's image.

Congress's Reaction

Reacting to Rijiju's statements, Congress leader Kumari Selja remarked, 'Such foolish comments will not distract from the real issue of the alleged theft of 2.5 million votes in the Haryana elections. The Prime Minister and the Election Commission must address this matter.'
