Concerns Over Police Behavior

In Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on August 7, Abhijit Deepke, the convenor of the Cockroach People's Party (CAZPA), accused a police sub-inspector assigned to security duty at his residence of obstructing visitors. Deepke demanded the removal of the officer, claiming that he was behaving 'strictly' with guests and attempting to monitor and restrict their movement around his home. He also mentioned receiving threats and highlighted the presence of plainclothes personnel from the state CID loitering near his residence, who later share information in a social media group called 'Hit Spray.'

Viral Videos Capture the Incident

Two videos have gone viral on social media, showing Deepke conversing with a senior police officer over the phone and with the sub-inspector stationed at his home. In the footage, Deepke is heard reprimanding the officer on duty and insisting on his removal from the security post. In one clip, he questions the plainclothes officer, stating, 'If I am inviting people to my home, what is the issue with letting them in? Why are you behaving like the Delhi police? There has never been a problem until now. This is the first time I am seeing you.'

Direct Confrontation with Police

Deepke, aged 30, firmly told the sub-inspector, identified as Suresh, 'Please step outside. I do not want you in my house.' This confrontation highlights the growing tensions between political activists and law enforcement in the region.
