On Wednesday, DMK leader TKS Elangovan remarked that the Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) has aligned with the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Tamil Nadu due to a lack of alternatives. He emphasized that the DMK stands with the people of the state, asserting that the PMK had no choice but to partner with the BJP, as everyone else is against them.

Earlier today, AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi Palaniswami announced the inclusion of PMK in the NDA ahead of the upcoming Tamil Nadu elections. During a press conference in Chennai with PMK leader Anbumani Ramadas, Palaniswami stated that they are already allied with the BJP and hinted at the possibility of bringing more parties into their coalition.
Palaniswami informed reporters that PMK President Anbumani Ramadas has also joined the NDA coalition, and there are expectations of additional parties joining as well. He declared their alliance as the 'Victory Alliance.' Supporting Palaniswami's statement, PMK leader A. Ramadas confirmed the collaboration, stating, 'PMK has allied with AIADMK in the NDA.' Earlier in the day, Anbumani Ramadas met with E. Palaniswami at his residence in Chennai.
