Major Political Change in Bihar

On Thursday, Bihar witnessed a significant political shift as the current Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar, submitted his nomination for the Rajya Sabha in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Patna. Alongside Kumar, other NDA candidates, including Upendra Kushwaha and BJP President Nitin Nabin, also filed their nominations for the upper house.


Having served as Bihar's Chief Minister for over two decades, Nitish Kumar announced his decision to contest for the Rajya Sabha, marking a new chapter in his political journey. The 75-year-old leader expressed his full support for the new cabinet.


Amit Shah's Remarks on Nitish Kumar

Following the nominations, Amit Shah stated that he attended the ceremony to support Nitin Nabin, Nitish Kumar, Ramnath Thakur, Upendra Kushwaha, and Sudesh Ram. Nitin Nabin, after a long and successful political career in the state, has now become the national president of the BJP and will contribute to Parliament through the Rajya Sabha.
