In a significant operation against drug trafficking, the CIA team from the Police District Nurpur successfully confiscated 515 grams of charas and apprehended an individual during a routine patrol on National Highway-154 close to Palin (Jonta). The vehicle involved in the incident was also seized.
Operation Details
On April 22, 2026, the CIA team was engaged in regular patrols across the Jasur, 24 Mile, and Jonta regions to deter criminal activities. Following a tip-off, officers stopped a white Swift car (registration number HP38J2050) near Jonta, with independent witnesses present during the search.
Upon examination, 515 grams of charas was discovered in the car's rear quarter panel, resulting in the immediate arrest of the suspect.
