Police Encounter Leads to Arrests

In a recent encounter in North Delhi, law enforcement officials apprehended two individuals believed to be associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. This information was disclosed by sources on Thursday.


During the confrontation, one alleged sharpshooter sustained a gunshot wound to the leg, resulting in injury. Additionally, a police constable was shot but fortunately survived due to his bulletproof vest.


Authorities reported that both suspects were involved in a recent shooting incident at a gym in outer Delhi and an attack on a businessman in Vinod Nagar, East Delhi, where they fired shots as part of an extortion attempt.


According to officials, the narcotics team in North Delhi received intelligence indicating that the suspects would arrive near Hiranki Mor. Following this tip-off, a trap was set in the area. When police attempted to stop them, the suspects opened fire, prompting the police team to retaliate.


The police confirmed that one of the injured suspects was transported to a nearby hospital, while his accomplice was apprehended at the scene. Authorities also seized two pistols and ammunition from their possession.
