Prime Minister Modi's Meeting with West Bengal BJP MPs

In a recent gathering at the Parliament House, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with BJP MPs from West Bengal, encouraging them to continue their fight against corrupt elements in the state. He urged the MPs to intensify their efforts to bring the BJP to power in the upcoming 2026 assembly elections. Jagannath Sarkar, the MP from Ranaghat, shared that the meeting primarily focused on ensuring that the Aadhaar-SIR process operates correctly, transparently, and smoothly, with all necessary arrangements in place.




Sarkar further noted that Modi emphasized the importance of strengthening direct communication with the youth in their respective areas, maintaining continuous engagement with the public, and addressing citizen issues promptly. Additionally, there was an in-depth discussion on effectively implementing various central and government development schemes. The incident involving MP Khagen Murmu was also strongly condemned during the meeting.




According to a close source to the Prime Minister, Modi stressed that the SIR process should not be overly complicated and that the message should reach grassroots levels.
