Prime Minister's Visit to Kanpur

On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to meet the parents and wife, Eshanya, of Shubham Dwivedi, who tragically lost his life in the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam. This meeting is set to take place at 2:20 PM at the Chakeri Airport in Kanpur, where the local administration will escort the grieving family.


Upon his arrival at Kanpur Airport via a special aircraft, PM Modi will spend approximately ten minutes engaging with Shubham's relatives. Shubham was among the 26 victims who perished in the Pahalgam attack while visiting Kashmir with his wife, Eshanya. Notably, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had previously met with Shubham's family.


This visit by PM Modi holds significant importance as he will also announce several major development projects for Kanpur and Uttar Pradesh. Initiatives related to metro services, power generation, and water purification are among the projects set to be inaugurated. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is expected to attend this event as well.
